This exciting new cinema thriller, starring Helen Hunt, Bill Paxton Jami Gertz and Cary Elwes, was partially filmed near Ames, Iowa (about 30 miles north of Des Moines).
The Victorian farm house destroyed by the tornado is located
near Ames and several local residents had small parts. No, the
house wasn't really destroyed and will probably soon be a tourist
attraction.
